Territorial development and sustainable agriculture in the "Strip of Diversity and Life" of Yasuní Park

The project, implemented by Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (AVSF) and its partner FEPP, will contribute to reactivate and perpetuate the FDV committee, update the committee's action plans, land management plans and life plans for indigenous communities. In addition, the project will provide training for local actors and assistance to strengthen governance and multi-stakeholder participation; support the formalization of territorial rights of farmers in the region; analyze the needs for strengthening local chains; and guide the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture in the demarcation of the Park and forest and agricultural territories. Alternative sources of financing will be developed (self-managed funds by the FDV committee and implementation of "zero deforestation" microcredit by FEPP's Development Bank).
